    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    The General Production Worker is responsible for checking products for quality and packaging them. This role collaborates with team members to complete tasks and maintain standards. Additionally, the worker may assist in training new employees, work alongside Operators, clean equipment, and perform other necessary tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect products for quality assurance.

    + Package products according to company standards.

    + Assist in training new employees.

    + Collaborate with Operators and other team members.

    + Clean equipment and ensure it is in proper working condition.

    + Perform various tasks as needed to support production processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in inspection and quality control.

    + Material handling experience.

    + Skill in packaging and assembly tasks.

    + Ability to perform visual inspections effectively.

    + Familiarity with using a tape measure.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

    + Capability to perform repetitive motion of the limbs.

    + Flexibility to bend, twist, squat, and reach.

    + Comfortable working in excessively noisy environments.

    + Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled settings, potentially exposed to inclement weather or extreme temperatures.

    + Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position operates solely in a factory setting, requiring long periods of standing and occasional walking across the plant floor within a non-climate-controlled environment. The role is part of a rotating shift schedule, with night shifts running from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, following a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off rotation. Employees have every other weekend, Friday through Sunday, off.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, Delaware.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
