    Job Title: MBSE Sr Systems EngineerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Systems Engineer to lead the development of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) standards and digital engineering practices. This role is pivotal in shaping system models and methodologies to be adopted across programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement MBSE tools, define system architectures, and ensure traceability and integration throughout the system lifecycle.

    Responsibilities

    + Define and manage system architectures, interfaces, and requirements using MBSE tools.

    + Develop and maintain SysML-based models to support design consistency and traceability.

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalable, certifiable architecture.

    + Support internal reference architecture development and cross-program integration.

    + Guide performance modeling and analysis throughout the program lifecycle.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field.

    + 10+ years of relevant experience.

    + Strong understanding of requirements management, systems integration, and Verification & Validation (V&V).

    + Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

    + Experience with MBSE using various tools.

    + Full V-Model experience, including decomposition of requirements, ConOps, Systems Requirements, High-Level Design through Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and Acceptance Testing.

    + Practical knowledge of industry-standard system engineering design principles, including requirements management and Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE).

    + Experience with digital systems modeling for Common Integrated Design (CID).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with tools like DOORS, MATLAB, ENOVIA.

    + INCOSE certification.

    + Background in Aerospace and Defense.

    + Proven leadership in system baseline definition and performance tracking.

    + Experience with CAMEO.

    + JIRA for project planning and stories.

    + Agile Experience.

    + Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).

    + Understanding of Network Architecture and infrastructure.

    + Problem-solving skills.

    Work Environment

    This role offers a hybrid work environment, with a requirement to be in the office at least three days a week. You will join a mission-driven team where innovation, agility, and impact converge. If taken on direct, there is a phenomenal 401K plan with 150% matching up to 6%.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $78.00 - $80.00/hr.
