Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team in a prototype facility dedicated to retrofitting box trucks and mobile vans. This exciting opportunity involves working on a new product with a target of building 17 vehicles before December 1st.

Responsibilities

+ Perform aluminum extrusions and steel fabrication and welding.

+ Utilize shop equipment to bend, clamp, and weld materials.

+ Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure precise fabrication and fitting.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in welding and fabrication with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

+ Expertise in TIG welding techniques.

+ Ability to weld 1/8" aluminum and steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation.

+ Strong skills in fitting and fabrication.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Plymouth, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
