Job Title: Service Technician
Job Description
This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical petroleum equipment and products, such as Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Passport, and EVO.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on gasoline dispensers and related equipment.
+ Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Point of Sale (POS) equipment.
+ Monitor and maintain accuracy of parts inventory.
+ Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide necessary repairs.
+ Install, program, and test new equipment.
+ Communicate technical issues to customers in understandable terms.
+ Present a professional demeanor and be punctual for service calls.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance or electronic experience, or industrial electrical/electrician experience, or military maintenance experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Preferred 1+ years of experience as a petroleum service technician.
+ Certification in Gilbarco or similar dispenser service.

Work Environment
Technicians work indoors and outdoors at gas stations, with flexibility in choosing service trucks. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, ten-hour days, with uniforms provided. Teams consist of 2-3 members per location, reporting to the Service Manager. The company offers all necessary tools, training, travel, uniforms, and safety equipment, providing a supportive and well-equipped work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $81120.00/yr.

Unlimited OT
only on call once every 8 weeks (most places its every 2-3)
**for internal use only** they are willing to do a sign on bonus, retention bonus, or referral bonus as needed per candidate. Up to $5K per if they are experienced.
Here's the basic outline of benefits:
BCBS Health - MPE pays 90% of premiums for employee only. Can add spouse and children.
Principal Insurance for dental and vision. Can add spouse and children.
Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Life Insurance is paid 100% by MPE.
$250 per year work wear allowance.
15 Days PTO first year. Accrual basis, not lump sum.
10 paid holidays including big six federal holidays in addition to Friday after Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, Christmas Eve, and your birthday.
401K
90 days employee can contribute
90 days MPE puts equivalency of 3% even if employee contributes nothing—no reduction our of employees pay
6 months, MPE will match up to 3%
All tools, training, travel, uniforms and safety equipment is provided.
