    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    Propose solutions and IT alternatives to the problems presented in special processes of production machines, with the priority of ensuring the quality of the products, as well as ensure the correct application of the ITM directives, according to VM/MFD and corporate policies.

     

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    + Deployment and Engineering for digital technology solutions & data services for manufacturing traceability (MES), IT Shopfloor Solutions and Analytics.

    + Connected Industry and Industry 4.0 product portfolio implementation.

    + Application project onsite tryout with PLC engineers/machine supplier and customer team

    + Maintain the security in the production according to the Bosch ITM regulations which affects PCs, servers, hardware and networks as concept definitions and physical implementation of such

    + Maintain and improve the MES to increase production efficiency and enable data analytics and AI projects

    + Align internationally on Industry 4.0 Projects and ensure these are fulfilled according to standards and Central Directives in collaboration with other departments.

    + Provide training and support for i4.0 solutions to support end users

    + Migrate production relevant IT systems and software applications to new architecture and versions.

    + Driving digitalization and assuring stable production processes using MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions and following ITM policies.

    + Conception and implementation of production IT equipment, IT solutions and enhanced features together with coordination of suppliers.

    + Trouble shooting and fault elimination on Servers, PCs, PLCs, Networks.

    + Investigation of process data structures on stations and servers to identify anomalies and improvement potentials.

    + Migrating production relevant IT systems and software applications to new architecture and versions.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS and ABILITIES

    Language Skills:

    + Proficient in English language, both written and spoken. Additional languages like German are a plus

    + Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ambition to drive projects.

    Mathematical Skills:

    + Advanced math skills required

    Reasoning Ability:

    + Self-organized and systematic work approach, Personality: committed, creative, resilient, and capable. Operation: independent, innovative, reliable, and conscientious

    Leadership Skills:

    + Dynamic personality with a team-first and can-do attitude

    + Strong networking skills, preferably already has a network within the organization

    + Able to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, willing to perform tasks outside the official job descriptions

    + Must be able to work independently and make needed decisions with little direct supervision.

    + Must be able to handle multiple tasks and set priorities accordingly.

    Computer Skills:

    + Must have advanced computer skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software. Must be capable of learning other software packages (Ex: SAP, and Test Software).

    + IT skills with Windows/Linux OS, SQL server, MySQL, and Oracle database; Virtual Machines; Network; Cloud technology; Programing experience with C#, Java, JS, etc.

    + Existing knowledge and experience w/ Nexeed-MES and portfolio is plus

    + ERP or other manufacturing execution software experience is plus

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    + N/A

    Other Skills and Abilities:

    + Project Management experience is plus

    + Must be able to function in a support role for CIP and TOP teams within the plant.
