Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling of materials within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position offers the opportunity for growth and development in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the unloading and loading of kegs (new and used) upon truck arrival.

+ Utilize RF Scanner and demonstrate knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS/SAP).

+ Receive bin numbers and locate beer pallets in the refrigerated area.

+ Load and unload shipping trucks efficiently.

+ Prepare packages for shipping.

+ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse during downtime.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with stand-up forklift operations.

+ Material handling and inventory management skills.

+ Knowledge of SAP and warehouse management systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must be at least 21 years old.

+ Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience.

+ Previous experience in food and beverage industry preferred.

+ Forklift experience preferred; certification provided on site.

+ Ability to lift cases up to 35 lbs and maneuver kegs up to 170 lbs.

+ Basic computer skills.

Work Environment

The warehouse is climate-controlled, although some tasks require entry into refrigerated areas. The position is on the first shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with potential weekend shifts offering a $50 incentive. Located in Richmond, VA.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
