Overview:
We are seeking a sharp Project Coordinator for an awesome opportunity in Norfolk, VA.
Description:
+ Enter and update data related to RFQs, purchase orders, and customer information into ERP systems (Costpoint).
+ Maintain organized files for quotations, purchase orders, sales order acknowledgments, and other records.
+ Process customer data for new account setup and updates.
+ Assist with scheduling deliveries and customer pickups.
+ Support administrative tasks such as creating invoices, sales receipts, and reports.
+ Provide backup support to team members in customer service, training, and field service administration.
+ Answer phone calls, take detailed messages, and ensure timely communication with the appropriate team members.
+ Handle payment transactions, including processing credit card payments and generating sales receipts.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Desire to share expertise and support customer satisfaction with a “servant’s heart”.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to type 45+ WPM.
+ Training will be provided in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and ERP systems, so prior experience is not required.
+ Familiarity with DLA, DIBBS, and federal acquisition regulations preferred.
Preferred:
+ Knowledge of connectivity solutions, fiber optics, including cables, connectors, and tool kits.
+ Ideal for candidates transitioning from technical roles in connectivity solutions with fiber optics, whether from hands-on fieldwork, help desk support, or supervisory roles overseeing technical teams, seeking an office-based environment with an early shift.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
