Description
- Electronics design of embedded aerospace products including digital controls, sensor input signals, power supplies, and protection circuitry
- Create firmware designs for FPGAs and SOCs for embedded projects
- Work from customer requirements to determine systems and hardware requirements and design
- Design, simulate, verify, integrate, troubleshoot, and document designs
- Develop and document digital designs in RTCA/DO-254 process environment
- Write, review, and validate hardware and firmware requirements
- Investigate, test, and implement new tools and flows into design and verification processes
- Guide the insertion of digital technologies into solutions for our customers
- Design, Code and Test designs for FPGAs and SOCs
- Support software and/or hardware interface designs to the FPGAs in development
- Ensure the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp
- Evaluate, develop and debug of complex test methods
- Develop and debug complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment
- Test, validate, modify, and redesign circuits to guarantee component margin to specification
Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- MS or BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field
- 10+years digital circuit design experience
- Proficient in FPGA firmware development including VHDL and/or Verilog
- Strong debugging experience
PLUS:
- Knowledge of other languages used in verification which could include Verilog, C/C++ tests, or scripting languages such as Python
- Experience with virtual processors such as Xerox MicroBlaze
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $67.00/hr.
