Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced QA Tester with a strong background in the finance domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in web based UI testing, automation testing, and data validation, with a particular focus on Revenue Dashboards and Profit & Loss (P&L) reports. This role requires a passion for quality assurance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform end to end testing of web based financial applications, ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of Revenue Dashboards, P&L reports, and other financial tools.

+ Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans for both manual and automated testing scenarios.

+ Identify, document, and track bugs using industry standard tools (e.g., JIRA).

+ Conduct UI testing to ensure a seamless user experience across multiple browsers and devices.

+ Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

+ Implement and maintain automation testing frameworks, scripts, and tools to streamline testing processes.

+ Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial datasets and systems.

+ Provide regular test reports and updates to project teams and senior management.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

+ Proven experience as a QA Tester in the finance domain, with hands on involvement in web based UI testing and data validation.

+ Familiarity with testing financial systems, specifically Revenue Dashboards and P&L attribution reports.

+ Expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar platforms.

+ Proficiency in SQL and data analysis for validating financial datasets.

+ Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

+ Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

+ Certification in software testing is a plus.
