The **Digital Products & Solutions (DP&S)** business unit at IQVIA is a function-led organization encompassing Strategy, Product Management, Product Engineering, Delivery, and Commercialization. Our portfolio spans Clinical, Patient, Safety, Regulatory, and Commercial technology and services.

As **Director, Strategic Account Management** within the **Clinical Trial Payments (CTP)** Delivery team, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the success of our enterprise client relationships. This role combines strategic vision, financial oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue growth, enhance client satisfaction, and improve operational excellence.
You will lead a team of Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) and oversee the Project Finance Team, ensuring alignment with client goals and IQVIA’s broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
+ Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders in CTP enterprise accounts.
+ Lead regular governance meetings to review KPIs, address escalations, and ensure strategic alignment.
+ Inspire and guide a high-performing team of SAMs to act as trusted advisors and foster authentic client relationships.
+ Develop and execute a forward-looking enterprise account management strategy.
+ Promote a culture of innovation and agility within the Strategic Accounts team.
+ Drive revenue growth through cross-selling, upselling, and expanding CTP’s footprint in existing accounts.
+ Oversee project financials, including profitability, staff utilization, and timely change order creation.
+ Collaborate with the Commercialization team to shape go-to-market messaging and support Sales enablement.
Qualifications & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
+ 7–10+ years of relevant experience in strategic account management or delivery leadership.
+ Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and driving business results.
+ Strong executive-level client relationship management skills.
+ Deep understanding of project financials, profitability, and resource utilization.
+ Familiarity with LEAN principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Strategic thinker with the ability to align account strategies with organizational goals.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process assessment skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
+ Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $108,100.00 - $300,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
