• Application Architect Java & Web Technologies

    CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect – Java & Web Technologies opening for our client in New York, NY.

     

    **Location:** New York, NY

    **Duration:** 12 months

    Duties:

    + Serve as a key Application Architect supporting the Global Commercial Services organization

    + Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise-level solutions using Java and Web Technologies

    + Provide architectural leadership and guidance in the use of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), RESTful web services, and Apigee

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and security policies

    + Lead design sessions and code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with architectural standards

    + Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation

    + Oversee and support data architecture design using Postgres/PostgreSQL

    + Integrate endpoint security considerations into application and system designs

    Skills:

    + Expertise in Java and Java API development

    + Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

    + Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful web services

    + Experience with database technologies, specifically Postgres/PostgreSQL

    + Hands-on experience with Apigee for API management

    + Understanding of DB architecture and design principles

    + Knowledge of endpoint security best practices

    + Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and tools

    Experience:

    + Minimum 8 years of experience in application architecture and design

    + Proven track record of successful delivery of complex, enterprise-grade systems

    + Experience supporting enterprise architecture in a global commercial services context

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required

    + Master’s degree preferred

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
