This position offers a great opportunity to work on some of TI's most advanced custom products. As an AMS DV Engineer, you will have responsibility for driving design execution excellence across the company on projects for TI's largest customer. You'll work closely with design, systems, verification, characterization, test and product engineers to define, develop, and productize the best chip design for custom semiconductor devices. This role is highly customer facing and you will interact frequently on requirements with our customers. Creative, innovative, detail-oriented engineers with strong team and customer interaction skills will find this to be an interesting and rewarding opportunity.
In this role as an AMS DV Engineer your responsibilities will include:
• Improve NPD execution by defining and deploying verification best practices with the primary focus on high profile custom products
• Improve product quality by identifying gaps in our verification methodology and driving improvements in the pre-RTM chip design flow
• Be the verification subject matter expert for interfacing with our customers for custom chips.
• Identify opportunities to deploy new best practices across all projects, not just the custom projects for this team

Minimum requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
+ 7+ years of AMS verification experience
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering
+ Extensive track record of success with NPD execution
+ Release to Production of multiple devices in multiple factories
+ AMS verification experience across multiple silicon process technologies (power BCD and deep sub-micron)
+ Strong background in design tools and flows
+ Strong verbal & written communications skills
+ Strong teaming skills supporting a decidedly positive, creative, innovative, supportive, and rewarding work culture
+ Strong customer facing skills - communicating, influencing, relationship building
+ Inquisitive, interested, and analytical nature; strong problem solving/innovating skills
+ Experience with analog, digital, firmware, power and signal chain devices is preferred
