About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python, Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI Agents. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure AI services, LangChain, and building complex, production-grade AI applications that leverage modern AI tooling and cloud infrastructure. You will work alongside data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to design, develop, and deploy intelligent applications at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design, build, and deploy scalable AI applications using **LLMs** , **LangChain** , and **agent-based frameworks** .

+ Develop robust and reusable backend systems in **Python** , with a strong emphasis on AI integration.

+ Architect AI pipelines leveraging **Azure AI services** such as Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Machine Learning Studio.

+ Build and manage intelligent agents capable of autonomous task execution and multi-step reasoning.

+ Optimize LLM performance through fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

+ Collaborate cross-functionally to define system architecture and data pipelines for AI-driven products.

+ Maintain best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation.

Stay up-to-date with emerging AI/ML trends, tools, and frameworks, contributing to strategic AI direction.

External Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering or similar field OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 7 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering or related field

+ Experience in Engineering, Software Engineering or similar field

+ Experience writing code for moderately complex applications

+ Experience with programming languages for online applications, microservices or mobile applications

+ Experience designing/building moderately complex applications/automation

+ Experience writing automation test or deployment scripts

+ Experience creating coding/scripting solutions to fix moderately complex problems

Preferred Qualifications:

+ **5+ years** of software engineering experience, with a strong background in **Python** .

+ Proven experience working with **LLMs** (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Claude, Mistral, or similar).

+ Deep expertise with **LangChain** and AI Agent design patterns.

+ Hands-on experience with **Azure AI** , including **Azure OpenAI** , Cognitive Search, or ML services.

+ Experience developing or integrating with AI agents, autonomous workflows, and orchestration tools.

+ Strong understanding of prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), and retrieval pipelines.

+ Solid knowledge of software architecture, REST APIs, and scalable backend systems.

+ Experience with DevOps tools, version control (Git), and agile development processes.

+ Experience with **Vector Databases** , **RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)** , or hybrid search.

+ Familiarity with tools like **Weaviate** , **Pinecone** , **ChromaDB** , or **Qdrant** .

+ Background in deploying AI models to production, including performance monitoring and feedback loops.
