Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will serve as the point person on all operations and administrative matters related to the U.S.-India Business Council and the U.S.-Bangladesh Business Council. The candidate will drive corporate affairs outreach, leadership, and outcomes and serve as a key interlocutor to the USIBC and USBBC global board of directors This person will be the primary contact for large-scale events and initiatives, in partnership with events and program management colleagues.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage the day-to-day council(s) operations, including the budget process, expenses, the project workflow, contract management, invoicing and collecting revenue, and internal processes.
+ Drive USIBC and USBBC global board administration and activities, including planning, identifying member service opportunities, and serving as a key administrative point of contact for board companies and senior executives.
+ Working with the vice president for South Asia, conduct financial management, budgeting, contract management, procurement, and marketing/branding projects.
+ Support efforts to expand council(s) membership and fundraising.
+ Work with legal and professional service firms to support partnership, networking, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in a fast-paced business, legal, or operations setting. Budget and operations management experience are required. Global trade/policy experience is preferred.
+ Excel and CMS mastery.
+ Exceptional process and multitask acumen related to operations, financial management, budget, and deadline-based work.
+ Demonstrated success planning large meetings, including international conferences, delegation visits, and business missions.
+ Superior written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong customer service.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage projects with little/no supervision.
+ Proven experience working with c-suite executives and senior government officials.
+ Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
The salary range for this position is $66,998.00 to $82,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
