Description

American Endovascular is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistants. Phlebotomy certification is required.

Responsibilities:

+ Assisting the doctor and nurses

+ Act as Scribe to help generate reports

+ Greeting and rooming patients

+ Recording vitals

+ Drawing labs

+ Taking medical and medication history

+ Restocking supplies

+ Maintaining a clean pre and post op area, cleaning equipment

+ Communicating with patients in relation to scheduling follow up appointments.

+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management

+ Uphold professionalism when speaking with patients and other physicians/medical staff

+ Other tasks may be assigned as required.

+ Checking insurance eligibility

+ Authorizing of office visits and ultrasounds

+ Answer phones

+ Enter referrals and call to schedule patients

Qualifications

High School Graduate

Medical Assistant School Graduate

Registered Medical Assistant issued by the state.

Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support
