    Overview

    **Important:** This job will require 70% travel within a multi-state territory.

     

    How You’ll Make an Impact

     

    The Senior Director, Field Consultant will advise and lead all aspects of the organization’s field sales policies, objective and initiatives. The day-to-day of a Senior Director will include managing and supervising an assigned group of associates; developing sales plans and strategies to fulfill growth and revenue targets; and developing business practices and models for the field team to effectively support, maintain, and grow the organization’s existing client/customer base.

     

    The Director will report to the Vice President of Sales and will work directly with field sales/support staff and dealer personnel to enhance all product opportunities.

    What You’ll Achieve

    + Help to build tools and reporting that supports, develops, and nurtures a highly skilled and focused field sales and support team that is accountable for gaining new business, growing product penetration into existing accounts, and maintaining the account base.

    + Actively participates in strategic planning for the organization with respect to sales initiatives, requirements, and account maintenance/retention.

    + Help to develop sales strategies, techniques, and tactics based upon feedback from clients, field staff, market conditions, and driven environment

    + Helps to develop annual sales plans

    + Provide ongoing updates of sales estimates and forecasting estimates for assigned region

    + Assist in the development of tools to track and supervise performance and provide coaching and counseling tools to territory representatives

    + Issue objectives and regularly provide tracking to executive management

    + Focus on winning new business

    + Consult with all other internal and external customers as vital to gain information and insight to achieve results

    + Help to lead and implement any special projects as directed by the VP, Sales or executive management

    Who You Are

    + **What you’ll bring with you:**

    + High School Diploma

    + 5+ years of experience leading a sales team, preferably in territory sales and/or dealership management experience

    + High level of understanding of dealership operations

    + High level of proficiency in utilization of Salesforce.

    + Territory management competence.

    + Proficiency in the entire MS Office Suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

    + Data analysis, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

    + **Why you might stand out from other talent:**

    + Some college.

    + Previous experience in mapping software.

    + Experience with selling and servicing automotive marketing platforms and/or CRM.

    + Good knowledge of marketing technologies.

    + Good organizational skills and time management.

    + Able to adapt to constantly evolving expectations.
