What You'll Do
We’re looking for a Director, Fund Shareholder Services to lead, develop, and manage the daily operations of a Service Provider Oversight Team. The Director will be responsible for overseeing a transfer agency oversight program for various investment products, including mutual funds, CITs, interval funds, and 529 plans!
This role involves close collaboration with transfer agent service providers and internal teams such as Compliance, Trust Company, Distribution, and Intermediary Oversight.
+ Serve as a leader for the Service Provider Oversight team, responsible for monitoring and managing transfer agency operations across various investment products. Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and reporting. Act as the primary liaison between transfer agent service providers and internal stakeholders.
+ Oversee and coordinate the team’s day-to-day operations, ensuring all activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies. Provide strategic oversight, guidance and support to staff to maintain high quality performance and deliver exceptional service to shareholders and internal stakeholders.
+ Lead, develop and motivate staff in an environment that embraces change, fosters focus, teamwork, creativity, timeliness, and results that are measured and recognized.
+ Effectively communicate with service providers and internal teams, sharing insights based on expertise in transfer agent operations.

Who You Are
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent
+ 8+ years of relevant asset management/financial services experience with a focus on transfer agency operations and service provider oversight
+ Previous investment products experience including mutual funds, CITs, interval funds, and 529 plans
+ A deep understanding of transfer agent and intermediary operations
+ Broad knowledge of business area practices, systems, and processes
+ FINRA Series 6 or 7 licensing required within 6 months of hire and FINRA Series 26 or 24 licensing required 6 months later. If licensing not already obtained, must become a FINRA non-registered, fingerprint-only associate

Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$137000 - $185000 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

We’re open to considering in-office or hybrid talent. Locations for hybrid talent are Des Moines, Charlotte, Chicago, or New York City. You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors
