Our client, a leader in consumer electronics and embedded systems innovation, is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will be part of the Embedded Systems Engineering Department supporting the Firmware Development Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear technical communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Firmware Engineer
Pay Range: $58/hr. – $64/hr.
What’s the Job?
+ Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware for consumer electronics
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement system-level solutions
+ Debug complex hardware/software issues using diagnostic tools
+ Write technical documentation including specifications and test plans
+ Conduct unit testing, validation, and post-release support
What’s Needed?
+ Minimum 3+ years of experience in embedded C programming
+ 3+ years experience with Git source control
+ Proficiency with bus protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
+ Experience using hardware debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes)
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or related field
