WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will work closely with your Product Management team cross-functional teammates in Merchandising, Design and Technical Design, Planning and Operational teams in order to lead the product creation cycle.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Global Product Line Manager II, for Men’s Sport focusing on Tennis and Golf. The primary focus being the Tennis Apparel product line. This role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the product creation process and the ideal candidate will possess:
+ Passion for the tennis consumer and crafting outstanding performance product meeting their needs
+ Understanding of product assortment and lifecycle management principles
+ Passion for and knowledge of sport inspired fashion and trends
+ Desire to grow in the role and take on product line ownership as well as support tennis initiatives
+ Collaborative, team-oriented approach
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Development, Sports Product Management or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
+ 2-3 years of related experience in product-related role
+ Ability to guide multiple product creation timelines
+ Passion for product and understanding of the tennis consumer
+ Outstanding attention to details
+ Strong decision-making skills and the ability to drive consensus
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations
+ Ability to travel up to 5-10%
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
If this is you, you will work with Product Management and a cross-functional team (Merchandising, Design and Technical Design) on the apparel creation process from brief to final product approval. You will own the product creation workflow through data management and effective collaboration across cross-functional partners. You will be delivering on key dates and holding yourself accountable to be a great teammate.
The ideal candidate will also be responsible for crafting insightful and impactful product briefs in partnership with their manager. They will analyze consumer and competitive trends in the market and bringing quality product to market that solves problems for our consumer and meets margin targets.
A typical day/week includes ensuring the accuracy of information in key systems, sample management, participating and conducting meetings and providing clear communication to guide cross functional teams thru critical checkpoints.
