    Job Summary:

    The HRIS Specialist will be responsible for data integrity by maintaining our HRIS and ensuring HR processes are followed with all documentation completed accurately and timely. You will work with the HR Team and cross functionally with other departments. This position is also responsible for the configuration, maintenance, administration, and support of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other HR platforms in alignment with HR programs, goals, and initiatives. While also delivering a high level of customer service for our employees.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Designs and prepares reports for employee data contained in the HRIS, acting as the data expert for standardization and integration throughout the firm

    + Help strategically drive adoption of the HRIS technology and processes across the organization, maintaining system security access control by creating roles and granting permissions/creating and configuring the systems to current business process

    + Serves as the primary reporting specialist for the HR function combining HR knowledge with information retrieval skills to create, maintain, and execute regularly scheduled reports, and as needed reports that contribute to analysis, decision-making and compliance

    + Utilize data, research, and analytical insights to improve existing HRIS programs and recommend new Human Resources programs to maximize the value of the HR solution

    + Partners with entire HR team to review and audit employee data changes, new hire entries, and other information sources to ensure a high level of data consistency across various platforms

    + Manages training modules and documentation available to HRIS end users

    + Maintains working knowledge of company policies, regulations, and benefits to provide guidance to employees and managers to ensure compliance and consistency

    + Maintains communication with HR staff, department managers, and directors to review and audit employee data changes, new hire entries, and other information sources to ensure data consistency

    + Provides functional and technical support for our HRIS system, resolves HRIS issues; acts as troubleshooter; works closely with our HRIS vendor to support upgrades, enhancements, testing and the rollout of new modules

    + Assist employees with questions on accessing the Employee Self Service including resetting passwords or entering any information needed from the employee

    + Serve as reporting contact for HRIS, providing reports at which ever cadence is decided

    + Help strategically drive adoption of the HRIS technology and processes across the organization.

    + Maintains HRIS security access control by creating roles and granting permissions. Makes updates to access levels with new hires, terms, role changes, etc.

    + Manage our training recertification process for our field employees. Monitor expiration dates, notify employees, send emails, follow up with completion status, and mail out badges upon arrival

    + Develop and maintain an accurate record related to Human Resources data, including personnel files, training records, required documentation, employee communications, performance appraisals, etc.

    + Act as team support with any other implementations or HR team projects on an as needed basis

    + Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

     

    + Using critical thinking skills to troubleshoot errors independently and create a plan of action to address errors

    + Familiarity with HRIS platforms

    + Intermediate to expert knowledge of entire Microsoft Suite products with emphasis on Outlook and Excel and Power BI

    + Excellent communication skills for internal teams as well as employee facing scenarios

    + Excellent time management skills and project management skills to ensure timely project completion

    + Real time updating of Microsoft OneNote to provide project transparency to HR Manager

     

    Required Education and Experience

     

    + Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience

    + Minimum of 2 years of HRIS Administrator experience

     

    Preferred Education and Experience

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline

    + 5 + years of experience in HRIS Administration

    + Familiarity with multiple HRIS (Paycom preferred)

     

    Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.

     

    + Human Resources Certification, i.e. PHR, SPHR, SHRM
