**SALARY:** $131,200–$147,600 bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:
Interpreting sales data with analytical takeaways and recommendations is an integral role within our Sales department. The Sales Intelligence Director position leads a group of Business Analysts who collectively work closely with top leaders in the organization and various cross-functional groups. The employee and team support our Field Sales teams as well as other Sales functions with fact-based data to make informed decisions and recommendations. Additionally, the employee is tasked with various projects leveraging Sales analysis to bring to life our strategic enablers, improving our capabilities, and driving top and bottom-line growth. Through these detailed insights, our Sales Intelligence team has the opportunity to lead our company in exciting directions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Sales Performance & Strategic Support: Provide routine sales reporting, ad hoc analysis, and deep-dive assessments on sales, market share, and distribution trends to identify and address performance gaps. Support the Region Vice President and leadership team with actionable insights.
+ Presentation & Communication Development: Design and maintain impactful sales presentations for retailer visits, strategic planning meetings, and communication sessions.
+ Manage and develop 5 business analysts
+ Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for regional teams and management on performance monitoring tools, equipping them to evaluate competitive threats and marketplace dynamics.
+ Strategic Planning: Support the development of a comprehensive one-year strategic plan (1YP) for the Regional Sales department.
+ Culture of Data-Driven Decision Making: Promote accountability for key metrics by fostering a culture that prioritizes data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.
+ Leadership & Coaching: Guide, mentor, and develop sales professionals, cultivating an environment that supports career advancement and business success.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Business, or related field
+ 5+ years' of experience reviewing and analyzing sales data and summarizing key takeaways for management
+ Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand how decisions impact bottom line performance
+ Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity to desired outcomes, work with large datasets, and distill analyses into relevant insights with a structured and systematic thought process
+ Clear communicator who can story-tell with data
+ Advanced Excel skills & experience developing dashboards and working with business intelligence/data visualization tools, PowerBI skills preferred
+ Experience in consulting, accounting, technology, CPG, liquor, or accounting industry experience preferred
+ Beer/alcohol industry knowledge preferred
