Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician
Job Description
We are seeking skilled technicians with extensive experience in cable assembly, device testing, and computer proficiency. The role involves working on complex devices, including a small camera used for imaging testing within medical devices.
Responsibilities
+ Perform a wide range of assembly tasks on medical devices using work instructions and similar documentation.
+ Package assembled products, starting with packaging and training, before advancing to assembly tasks.
+ Conduct various assembly operations on mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies with minimal supervision.
+ Ensure work meets workmanship standards for quality, inspect for defects, and report any deviations found.
+ Meet production levels and communicate progress to supervisors.
+ Adhere to company standards for attendance, safety, housekeeping, and all personnel policy requirements.
+ Perform tasks in compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Execute other tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Electrical experience in cable assembly and troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel, with the ability to perform basic tasks such as copy/paste, saving documents, and using shortcuts.
+ Ability to troubleshoot problems based on error messages.
+ Experience in soldering, electromechanical troubleshooting, electrical testing, and assembly.
+ Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated through work on boats, cars, or bikes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with tools such as multimeter, torque driver, pipette, light meter, temperature data logger, laser collimation, oscilloscope, and electrostatic discharge (ESD).
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially in Excel for inputting, saving, and moving files.
+ GMP experience and cleanroom experience are advantageous.
+ Ability to read and use process sheets, schematics, and blueprints.
+ At least 2 years of prior experience in assembly, wiring harnessing, and mechanical assembly.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, focusing on the assembly of medical devices. This role includes interaction with various technologies and requires the use of hand tools, with physical activities such as lifting up to 20 pounds, walking, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
