Job Title: Building Automation Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Project Manager to oversee new construction projects in Atlanta, with a specific focus on the buildout of facilities for data center clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering and IT history, along with expertise in HVAC management. This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

+ Plan, schedule, and forecast manpower and resource requirements.

+ Coordinate projects in accordance with contract documents and approved sales estimates.

+ Manage all document control for projects, including RFI's, meeting minutes, punch lists, transmittal logs, submittal logs, change order logs, and issues logs.

+ Prepare project billing revenue forecasts and schedules of values.

+ Review all estimates and change orders for accuracy and approve all team project submittals.

+ Accountable for financial management on all assigned projects.

+ Prepare installation subcontractor bidding documents and negotiate subcontracts.

+ Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents in accordance with quality policy.

+ Prepare and update project schedules and cost estimates.

+ Prepare and deliver final project documentation to the customer and collect payment.

+ Responsible for all customer-facing communication.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3 years in a Project Management Role.

+ 5+ years in the controls industry.

+ Strong customer service skills.

+ Understanding of contracting procedures and tactics.

+ Advanced understanding of HVAC control systems.

+ Ability to analyze control system drawings and schematics.

+ Knowledge of contract law, codes, standards, and industry construction knowledge.

+ Strong leadership skills, including team leading and empowering others.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $57.00/hr.
