    Job Description

    The Manager-IT Security Engineering will lead and support “best practice” implementation and maintenance of Cintas’ Information Security controls and procedures, while overseeing and managing the security engineering team, and defining and guiding strategic security engineering initiatives. This role researches, recommends and implements changes to enhance information systems security and monitoring capabilities. The IT Security Engineering Manager will work collaboratively with various Cintas partners to design, build, and deploy security solutions and lead program enhancements in alignment with security frameworks.

    Skills/Qualifications

    Required:

    + H.S. Diploma/GED equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

    + Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology; including a minimum of 8 years of specific experience in Information Security

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising daily team activities, coaching/mentoring, and supporting in areas such as performance management, hiring, recruiting, career development, etc.

    + Hands-on experience with defensive security tools (e.g. SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, FW, CNAPP, etc.)

    + Multiple mid to high level Industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCNA, Microsoft Server, Linux, F5, Firewall, GMOB, GCIH, CEH, Google Security, etc.

    Preferred:

    + Hands on knowledge of threat Intelligence, modeling and hunting

    + Hands on knowledge of AI

    + Strong knowledge of cyber security practices and procedures

    + Strong knowledge of networking and infrastructure best practices
