What you will be doing?
The Alumni Coordinator is responsible for fostering strong internal collaboration with Britelife staff to support clients in creating continuing care plans. This role will be instrumental in developing our alumni network and aftercare resources. The coordinator will also create and manage a dynamic alumni program to ensure alumni remain engaged, informed, and motivated. Additionally, the position involves designing and organizing promotional materials for alumni events and services in the designated area. The coordinator will oversee the planning, coordination, and scheduling of all logistical details post discharge, ensuring smooth execution of programs and services within their scope of the alumni department under the direction of Director of Alumni Services.
What tasks are required?
+ Job Type: Full Time 40 hours; at minimum 3 days a week in office and 2 remote workdays
+ Required to work onsite and set-up/ assist alumni with BriteLife App.
+ Management of BriteLife Alumni app.
+ Ability to facilitate an aftercare group.
+ Completion of client phone calls, ability to offer support both days and nights.
+ Ability to manage and participate in tours for BriteLife Recovery’s facility.
+ Communication with the admissions department on alumni relapses/readmits.
+ Communication with case management regarding alumni needs.
+ Assist in creation and organization of Alumni events.
+ Communicate with potential re-admissions regarding the current program, follow-up and provide any information to the Admissions Department.
+ Attend any relevant local community events, networking groups and continue communication/ connection to local township, chamber of commerce, etc, on behalf of BriteLife Recovery, including attendance of any local activities. Collaborate with the Business Development team and coordinate educational events/Marketing activities.
+ Develop strong working relationship with BriteLife Recovery staff; collaborate with key personnel to incorporate their expertise on the program in educational sessions both on and off-site.
+ Collaborate with program directors, call center, admissions, and case management staff to ensure consistent delivery of service. Communicate frequently with directors and admission/intake staff to meet or exceed service expectations.
+ Assist in the development of promotional collateral for alumni events
+ Promote BLR philosophies; generate team spirit; and create and maintain a business environment that fosters the highest levels for quality, excellent customer service, and superior team member satisfaction
+ Proficient use of Salesforce platform to communicate and track alumni correspondence post discharge

+ Communicate the mission, ethics and goals of the organization.
+ 1 year working in substance use treatment, marketing or client facing positions
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Healthcare experience preferred.
+ Highly competitive, dynamic, and motivated to succeed.
+ Customer service oriented, ability to focus on the details and help with service delivery process.
+ Experience and knowledge of substance use disorder and local/regional market.
+ Understanding of trends in substance use disorder/behavioral health.
+ Highly disciplined in territory management, time management, and sales pipeline management.
+ Aptitude to understand and effectively communicate information.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
+ Ability to walk up and down stairs during emergency drills or situations.
