    We are looking for a **Server/Culinary Assistant** to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room food/meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Assisted Living Community, located in Minnetonka, MN. This nutrition services schedule includes;

     

    + casual / on call

    + minimum of 3 shifts per month; 1 weekend shift

    + must work 1 holiday per year

    Preferred:

    + No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting

    + Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required

    + Desire to work with seniors

    + Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff

     

    _Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $17.77 - $25.64 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on related experience._

     

    This position is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to residents.

    Responsibilities

    + Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:

    + Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.

    + Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.

    + Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.

    + Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.

    + Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.

    + Follows proper work flow to stay on task.

    + Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.

    + Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.

    + Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:

    + Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.

    + Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.

    + Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.

    Required Qualifications

    + less than 1 year experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    + High School Diploma

    + 1 year experience
