    MORE ABOUT THE PHARMACY TECH POSITION:

    * Prepare and label medications for pharmacist verification.

    * Manage automated dispensing cabinets and respond to notifications.

    * Deliver medications to patient units and return unused doses to the pharmacy.

    * Conduct monthly inspections of medication storage areas, removing outdated or unusable medications.

    * Assist with inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and updating computerized inventory systems.

    * Handle controlled substances in accordance with documentation and dispensing procedures.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PHARMACY TECH:

    * Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy

    * Previous Hospital experience is a plus
