    Security Officer

     

    _We are looking for a qualified_ **_Security Officers_** _like you to join our Texas Health family._

    Position Highlights:

    Work location: **Texas Health Burleson 2750 SW Wilshire Blvd, Burleson, TX 76028**

     

    Work hours: Part-Time, 24 Hours Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM-6:30 PM

    Department Highlights:

    • Security provides services 24/7 including vehicle escorts, patrols in building and in parking areas, response to service calls.

    Education

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required And

    + Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or closely related field is preferred

    Experience

    + If Texas Private Security Level 2, 2+ years of experience preferred

    + If Texas Private Security Level 3, 1+ years of experience preferred

    Licenses and Certifications

    + DL – Drivers License (Class C and insurable) upon hire required And

    + ACPI – Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 days required And

    + NCSO – Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 120 days required And

    + CSO – Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 120 days required And

    + TASER Certification- Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 days required

    What You Will Do

    + Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.

    + Locks and opens doors according to schedules.

    + Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.

    + Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property.

    + Maintains compliance with Texas Health Police policies.

    + Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity.

    + Fills out incident/offense report forms and composes narratives.

    + Utilizes critical thinking skills and provides the appropriate level of force for the situation

    + Responds to and activates the appropriate emergency response code

    + Interacts with and provides assistance to Police, Fire, EMS and other emergency staff as required
