    Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This role involves retrieving material, setting up equipment, maintaining material quality, ensuring production rates, troubleshooting process problems, and identifying equipment issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Retrieve material from the staging area.

    + Set up no.1 no. 2 or re-spool equipment, including pay-off, dancer system, straightening box, roll stand, edger, and take up wire onto reel as required.

    + Maintain material quality and integrity by performing quality checks, labeling finished material, and forwarding samples to quality for testing.

    + Maintain expected production rate.

    + Troubleshoot process problems.

    + Identify equipment issues and repair or report as necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience as a machine operator.

    + Quality assurance knowledge.

    + Troubleshooting skills.

    + Experience as a rewind operator.

    + Ability to set up machines.

    + Perform quality checks using tools like micrometers and calipers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must have a High School Diploma (GED is not accepted).

    Work in a clean environment, climate controlled. Dependability, core values, and ethical behavior are highly valued. Safety gear including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and gloves (when needed) are required. There is no structured lunch break, but employees have the freedom to eat lunch between work cycles. Employees are expected to bring their own lunch. Positions are available on the 3nd shift with an additional shift differential.

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $48880.00/yr.
