We are searching for the best talent for **Maintenance Technician III** to be in **Irving, Texas.**
JOB SUMMARY
Performs installation, maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment. Ensures appropriate records are maintained. Responsible for supporting manufacturing processes by implementing all aspects of process improvement, equipment setup, testing, documentation, problem correction and related tooling.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
+ Maintains manufacturing equipment which may include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
+ Performs installation, setups and changeovers of machinery. Tests and make adjustments as needed.
+ Repairs malfunctioning equipment. Identifies and implements process improvements.
+ Updates required documentation including maintenance and repair logs.
+ Assists with trouble report preparation for malfunctioning equipment.
+ Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
+ Orders parts and supplies in accordance with department procedures.
+ Utilizes machine shop activities to create or fix parts needed during repair.
+ Modifies procedures to improve equipment operation or processes.
+ Responds to basic system alarms and reset alarms as necessary.
+ Records assignments and prepare documentation concerning materials, parts used, concepts, designs, drawings and processes.
+ Updates supervisor of work status or problems with recommendations for improvement or correction. Implements approved corrective action.
+ Applies safety procedures to all work. Responds to safety issues by recommending and
+ implementing a resolution.
+ Works together with outside contractors giving service to manufacturing equipment.
+ Gives support to process engineers in the development of projects.
+ Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals, including but not limited to: Data Integrity (DI), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
+ Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
+ Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
+ For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
+ Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
+ Performs other duties assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
+ Requires 4-6 years related experience.
+ Associate Degree, Certificate, or Equivalent.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS
+ Competent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
+ Technical writing skills preferred.
+ Exposure to IQ/OQ/PQ preferred.
+ Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks required.
+ Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures.
+ CMMS software experience required.
+ PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele base.
+ Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and the public.
+ Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
