What you will do:
We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Customer Training Specialist to assist with the development of content and deliver training programs for our customers. This role is critical in ensuring effective and optimized use of our products by providing hands-on instruction, technical documentation, and ongoing customer training. The ideal candidate has a background in industrial equipment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers succeed in their operational goals.
Essential Functions:
+ Customer Training:
+ Deliver in-depth technical training to customers on the safety, operation, and maintenance of induction furnace systems.
+ Customize training sessions to customer-specific equipment configurations and processes.
+ Training Material Development:
+ Help create and maintain technical training manuals, presentations, and instructional videos.
+ Collaborate with engineering, product, and service teams to ensure training content aligns with the latest product specifications and best practices.
+ Translate complex technical concepts into clear and accessible training materials.
+ Customer Support & Relationship Management:
+ Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for post-training support.
+ Conduct follow-up evaluations to assess training effectiveness and address knowledge gaps.
+ Maintain strong relationships with customers to support long-term equipment success and satisfaction.
+ Internal Collaboration:
+ Provide feedback to engineering and product teams based on customer training experiences.
+ Assist internal teams with technical onboarding and upskilling as needed.
+ Support field service engineers and sales teams with pre-sales and post-sales training needs.
+ As availability allows, assist the Customer Service Department, with field service calls, or other departments as needed.
+ Proven track record of developing and executing successful training programs for B2B customers.
+ Strong understanding of furnace operation, power supply systems, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
+ Experience in delivering both in-person and virtual training programs.
+ Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Functions:
+ Experience with induction melting equipment or related technologies in foundry or metallurgical industries.
+ Knowledge of PLCs, power electronics, cooling systems, and control interfaces.
+ Familiarity with training and documentation tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, PowerPoint, video editing software).
Essential Physical Requirements:
+ Able to sit and stand for long periods.
+ Must be able to read printed words, write, speak and understand English.
+ Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer site visits and training.
+ Neat business-like appearance.
+ Must make us aware of any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.

What you will bring
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
+ Three years of experience working with industrial equipment, preferably in induction heating or melting systems.
