    Job Summary

    The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing "Athletic Training, Prevention and Wellness Services" to clients, employees, and other patients under a supervising physician and in direct contact with Novant Health Employer Solutions/Occupational Medicine leadership and providers.

    The Occupational Athletic Trainer Responsibilites include:

    + Injury prevention techniques, job hazard analysis, ergonomic assessments, first aid and injury care

    + Meets the professional, clinical, technical, communication and documentation requirements and standards and makes decisions based on established guidelines.

     

    Schedule: Part-Time, 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday – Friday, Flexible schedule

    Qualifications

    + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.

    + Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years collegiate or professional experience, recommended but not required.

    + Licensure/Certification: Current AT Licensure in appropriate state, required. Current BOC Certification, required.

    + Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.

    + Additional Skills (preferred): Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, XPS, CES national certification(s). Ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.
