    We are currently seeking to fill the following position for ourBuffalolocation.

     

    Manufacturing Engineer

    The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of manufacturing including welding, machining, inspection, and assembly.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Construct and support detailed manufacturing plans for complex parts and assemblies throughout the entire manufacturing process

    + Develop procedures and travelers to ensure successful execution of the manufacturing plan.

    + Create step-by-step manufacturing models or drawings that will be used throughout the manufacturing process

    + Support Project Managers with technical expertise

    + Investigate solutions to difficult challenges that arise during a project

    + Participate in project meetings and communicate with customers

    + Structure BOMs and MOMs in ERP system

    + Utilize good analytical and design skills with the ability to “think out of the box” for concept development

    + Perform mechanical design and calculations

    + Drive LEAN practices and cGMP

    + Assist in developing equipment pricing

    + Assist with supplier evaluations

    + Assist with debug of the automation equipment

    + Assist with installation at customer sites if required

    + Develop and deliver presentations to external and internal customers

    + Adherence to company policies and ISO Standards

    + Provide assistance in all departments as required by KTC management

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS

    + Knowledge of machine components, geometric tolerances, machining fabrication processes, machine controls and pneumatics

    + Experience and/or knowledge of welding and fabrication

    + Experience in an environment that fabricates custom equipment and industrial machinery

    + Experience required in the Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD and SolidWorks Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook)

    + Good communication skills are needed for conveying design specification, process details, and control strategies to potential clients and internal customers

    + Knowledge of ERP system and necessary modules within

    + Must be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Excellent planning and organizational skills

    + Proven experience working in a fast paced, high energy environment with an ability to multi-task and adjust to ever-changing priorities

    + Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical design

    EDUCATION

    + Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing discipline is required
