    Safety-Kleen is looking for a Sales Representative to join their safety conscious team. This role is responsible for managing the growth of the account portfolio in their assigned division or location. This person focuses on building business within their territories as well as developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. While working in conjunction with Sales Reps, provide product insight to our clientele regarding essential lines of business.

     

    Pay Range: $70k+k (base) annually plus uncapped commission

     

    Territory: The position will be based out of Elgin, IL.

    + Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.

    + Maintain daily awareness of direct report sales activities and results. Complete joint sales calls with LOBS, KAMs and Ams at key accounts to help grow business and provide coaching and feedback. Conduct performance evaluations of key performance indicators and statistics to monitor progress in attaining goals.

    + Responsible for managing, retaining and overall growth of existing book of business

    + Complete quarterly customer reviews for account development and activity with direct reports.

    + Setting monthly & quarterly goals with Regional Sales Reps aimed at identifying and closing opportunities for additional SK products & services within existing and new accounts

    + You will be our customers’ primary point of contact and responsible for fostering an increased Safety Kleen presence with the customers’ facility through various lines of business & service offerings

    + Grow current customer base with new lines of business;

    + Communicate and interact with facility and service management to ensure that customers needs are met; Promote communication and coordination between Sales, Operations, Customer Service and Customers

    + Achieve monthly sales quotas/budgets;

    + Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Environmental Science or Relatable Experience

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation required.

    + Tenacious, assertive, strong organizational skills and a hunter mentality;

    + Proven ability to develop a book of business;

    + Time and territory management skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities;

    + Working knowledge and current use of Salesforce.com is a plus;

    + 3+ years business to business sales experience preferred;

    + Excellent computer skills (MS Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    + Strong collaboration skills and the ability to facilitate a service team approach to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-through.

    + Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive decision-making.

    + Ability to travel within the region.
