Description

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the manufacturing industry, offering an opportunity to apply your expertise in accounts receivable and deductions management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting functions and experience within the consumer packaged goods sector.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.

• Investigate and resolve deductions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing and cash activity workflows.

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP tools to maintain accurate financial records.

• Process checks and manage cash transactions in alignment with company policies.

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies.

• Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable for management review.

• Maintain CRM systems to track customer interactions and payment histories.

• Assist in implementing process improvements to increase efficiency in financial operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable and deductions management.

• Familiarity with accounting software systems and ERP tools.

• Strong understanding of deductions.

• Knowledge of the consumer packaged goods industry is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in CRM systems for customer account tracking.

• Ability to process checks and manage financial transactions efficiently.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating across teams.
