We’re seeking a visionary and experienced leader to guide our Transmission Line and Substation teams through a period of rapid growth and innovation.

Your Role:

As Vice President, you’ll lead strategy, people, and projects across our Transmission and Substation divisions. You’ll shape the future of energy infrastructure while mentoring a talented team and ensuring excellence in every project.

What You’ll Do:

+ Lead with Vision: Set direction and inspire a team of 75-100 individuals, including directors and engineers, in a high growth environment. Drive innovation.

+ Deliver Results: Oversee complex T&S projects from design to delivery—on time and on budget.

+ Provide technical guidance: Support engineering teams. Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

+ Build Partnerships: Collaborate across departments and with clients to ensure success.

+ Ensure Quality & Safety: Uphold the highest standards in engineering and compliance.

+ Manage Budget & Resources: Develop and manage the division’s budget and allocate resources effectively.

What You Bring:

+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred)

+ Ability to obtain a PE license (PMP a plus)

+ 15+ years in transmission and substation engineering and project management, including 5+ in management

+ Deep knowledge of industry standards, safety, and emerging technologies

+ Experience with substation automation, protective relaying, grounding systems, and equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear).

+ Familiarity with transmission line routing, modeling software, and environmental assessments.

+ Familiarity with battery energy storage and data centers a plus.

+ Selected candidates must be located near an ENTRUST office and willing to go in weekly. Anticipated travel is approximately 30%.

In this role, you are enabled to be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and utilizing tools such as, Microsoft Copilot, bespoke AI workflow tools, and an IT team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation to enhance our operations and drive efficiency. All employees can engage with the Digital Transformation Team to support the integration of new tools and following employee ideas to drive success for the business.
