Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity for an Senior AEM Content Producer on the Choice Hotels eCommerce Content Production & Site Merchandising team. The Content Production & Site Merchandising team is responsible for building world class, high-converting digital experiences on www.ChoiceHotels.com and our mobile apps. As an AEM Senior Content Producer, you’ll play a key role in authoring the content for the homepage, brand pages, Choice Privileges loyalty pages, promo placements, and other pages across the web site and mobile apps.

Your Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management:
+ Author, edit, and publish content (copy, images, videos) within AEM.
+ Manage digital assets and metadata through AEM's DAM system.
+ Build and update web pages, landing pages, and other digital assets.
+ Trouble shoot and fix content that does not display correctly.
+ Perform regular improvements or recommendations for features as appropriate including development of new blades for the CMS, new landing pages and merchandising placements.
Collaboration and Communication:
+ Work closely with marketing, product, design, and development teams to understand content requirements and ensure alignment with overall digital strategies.
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
AEM Expertise:
+ Expertise using AEM tools and features to streamline content creation and publishing processes.
+ Understand AEM components, templates, and workflows to optimize content management.
+ Ability to know what type of content element to use depending on the use case.
Project Management:
+ Manage projects that consist of multiple content placements, pages and data set-up.
+ Provide support and training to less experienced authors.
Quality Assurance:
+ Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
+ Perform quality control checks on authored content.
Education, Experience and Knowledge:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ 3-5 years experience in content production, editing, and management with Adobe Experience Management (AEM) or similar role.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of agile software development methodologies and previous experience working in Jira.
Skills:
+ Proficiency in using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 or Cloud preferred) and its authoring tools.
+ Strong understanding of web content management systems, HTML, CSS, graphic design and Photoshop editing.
+ Familiarity with web accessibility standards (ADA), and responsive design principles.
+ Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Abilities:
+ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, both independently and collaboratively.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple tasks to meet deadlines and maintain service levels.

Team:
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, Content Production & Site Merchandising. You will have 2 peer teammate(s) and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location:
As our Senior AEM Content Producer, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
