Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group, is seeking to hire an Energy Project Developer / Engineer who would serve as the primary technical resource to the Business Development and Project Delivery teams. Responsible for identifying and understanding the mechanical, electrical, utility, and energy-related equipment and systems within a prospective customer's facility. Responsible for developing comprehensive and cost-effective technical solutions that increase the operational efficiency and/or effectiveness of the facility. Provides ongoing technical consultation and design of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) to facilitate the sales/business development process, ensure smooth installations, and achieve identified energy savings for the customer. This candidate should have a strong "airside" background and be interested in data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform HVAC and building performance calculations to support system design and project planning.
+ Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and code updates.
+ Identify and apply appropriate software modeling tools to enhance project accuracy and efficiency.
+ Leverage cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for team collaboration and document management.
+ Travel locally throughout Southeast Texas to visit project sites, attend meetings, and coordinate with teams.
+ Participate in occasional overnight travel based on project needs.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Architectural, or related discipline preferred).
+ 1–3 years of experience in MEP engineering or HVAC design/build environments.
+ Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required, with a clear plan to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure upon meeting eligibility requirements.
+ Solid understanding of HVAC fundamentals, including psychrometrics, load calculations, equipment selection, and system design.
+ Familiarity with commercial HVAC equipment types and their applications.
+ Working knowledge of local and state energy codes, building standards, and relevant industry regulations.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks, collaborate effectively with team members, and maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
+ Must have a clean driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel as needed.
