    SEC Reporting - Student Worker

    Job Description:

    We are looking for a current student pursing a bachelor's or master's degree (accounting emphasis preferred) to join our SEC reporting team! This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to SEC reporting at a Fortune 500 company including SEC filing, SOX testing, financial statement review, etc.

     

    _This is a part-time position (20 or more hours per week) and will require you to be in-person one day a week. We are targeting an August 2025 start date._

    What You'll Be Doing:

    + Help prepare the company’s financial statements, including preparing support, tie outs, and drafting footnotes.

    + Develop communication skills by managing group reporting process across a large number of stakeholders.

    + Test SOX controls.

    + Assist with accounting research related to questions on US GAAP.

    + Assisting with preparing support for other reporting projects as needed.

    What We Are Looking For:

    + Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree (accounting preferred).

    + GPA of 3.0 or higher.

    + Proficient with MS Office.

    + Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks based on opportunities and manage time effectively.

    + Detail-oriented mindset and ability to own individual tasks.

    + Ability to work well in a team dynamic and implement coaching/guidance.

    + Interest in increasing technical knowledge and understanding of financial filing process.

    + Prior work experience (professional/accounting experience a plus).

    Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

    $20.70 - $25.30

     

    Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
