The **Ultrasound/Echo Technologist** shall deliver quality care to attain positive health outcomes for all our valued patients with emphasis on cultural sensitivity and human dignity.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform general sonography (including small parts), obstetrical, breast and gynecological sonography, and cardiovascular sonography.

    + Demonstrate knowledge of all ultrasound exams. Technically responsible for the accuracy and quality of all exams and procedures performed in the radiology department.

    + Exercise extreme care, tact and patience in positioning ill and injured patients. Utilize two (2) patient identifiers before beginning an exam. Utilize proper technical factors when operating equipment to provide a quality image for proper diagnosis.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Current licensure/registration with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the equivalent with training or be registry eligible.

    + Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    + Available to work the following schedule:

    + Monday: 9:30am-6pm

    + Tuesday: 9:30am-6pm

    + Saturday: 8am-4:30pm

    + Sunday: 8am-4:30pm

    + Additional days/coverage needs may be available based on scheduling (vacation coverage, etc.)

    _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_

    + Knowledge of all ultrasound exams. Technically responsible for the accuracy and quality of all exams and procedures performed in the ultrasound department.

     

    Estimated Salary/Wage

     

    USD $30.07/Hr.
