Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

To remove finished product from the machines, inspect product to ensure quality specifications have been met and that all packaging requirements have been done according to production work order.

+ Read work order for product specifications and any special instructions concerning packaging, special skids, cartons, cradles, banding requirements, and samples

+ Inspects products for customer requirements and any defects

+ Assists in start-up and changeover of machinery or orders

+ Performs all required quality checks on all orders on a regular basis

+ Adheres to all packaging requirements per Production Work Order

+ Capable of entering production in JDE and printing all necessary paperwork, to include closing out last skid of order.

+ Completes at least one Work Place Observation per month.

+ Place customer labels on end of cartons or gaylords in a straight and neat manner. Adhere to any and all identification sheets, tally sheets, bar codes as requested by the customer

+ Follow AIB Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S) per written procedures and practices

+ Ensure proper housekeeping and safety by maintaining a clean and orderly work area

+ Maintain paperwork in order and not inter-mixed with orders that are completed or about to run.

Starting Wage: $18.00

+ Must know how to read and use a tape measure and weigh scale

+ Able to lift 50 pounds

+ Must have manual dexterity
