+ **$12,000** for those with **0–1 year of experience** (2-year commitment)

What You’ll Do:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering advanced cardiopulmonary care. Your responsibilities will include:

+ Administering therapies such as **Nitric Oxide (NO)** and **Tracheal Gas Insufflation (TGI)**

+ Working in diverse settings: **OR, ED, Cath Lab, Recovery, Transport** , and more

+ Performing procedures like **bronchoscopy, ABG analysis, PFTs, EEG, EKG, stress testing** , and **halter monitoring**

+ Monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment plans accordingly

+ Assisting in **code situations** and transporting ventilated patients

+ Mentoring students and supporting fellow team members as a **senior resource**

• Qualifications

Education & Experience:

+ Graduate of a **CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program** required.

+ **Associate’s degree** required; however, candidates without a degree may qualify with:

+ **5–7 years of relevant experience** , or

+ **NBRC certification**

+ **Bachelor’s degree** preferred.

+ Minimum of **2 years of respiratory care experience** , including at least **1 year in critical care** .

+ Must complete **one approved departmental project annually** , with the first project approved within **3 months of hire** .

Licensure & Certifications:

+ **CPR certification** (AHA-compliant, including both didactic and hands-on components) required within 30 days of hire.

+ **Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)** credential from the **National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)** required.

+ RRTs certified after July 1, 2002 must maintain NBRC certification per NBRC guidelines.

+ **Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license** required in the **Commonwealth of Pennsylvania** .

+ For Maryland-based roles: **Maryland Respiratory Therapist license** required.

Additional Clearances (as applicable):

+ **Basic Life Support (BLS)** or **Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)**

+ **Act 33 Clearance** (with renewal)

+ **Act 34 Clearance** (with renewal)

+ **Act 73 FBI Clearance** (with renewal)
