    DUTIES:Responsible for completing major and minor repairs and routine maintenance of motorvehicles and buses. Duties may also include parts inventory, snowplowing,completing necessary reports, emergency response, and shop maintenance.SALARY:$17.25 - $34.98 per hour, plus full-time benefits per the RHEA, Facilities & Mechanics ChapterQUALIFICATION:Must currently hold the Civil Service title of Automotive Mechanics,ORhave an AAS degree in automotive technology or related field,ORhave 2 years full-time experienceas a journeyman-level auto mechanic,ORhave 5 years full-time experience as a mechanic under the supervision of a journeyman-level mechanic. Must have a CDL with passenger endorsement, or must obtain within 6 months of appointment. Must obtain 19A certification upon appointment. Must have own toolsand ability to lift 75 pounds. Must have ability to work in unpleasant conditions including extreme hot/cold, fumes/odors, and wet or cramped areas.
