    HealthFitness is looking for Group Class Instructors of various formats to join the fitness team at our client site located in Washington, DC!

     

    In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in our general class program such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. Our specialty class programs include classes such as Yoga, Zumba, Barre, and Cycling.

     

    This is a position teaching either part-time, 1 class per week, or as a substitute working on an as-needed basis based on scheduling and demand.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.

    + Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.

    + 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

    + Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

     

    Compensation: $40.00/hr - $60.00/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional commission opportunities for someone with an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved Personal Trainer certification.
