    We are seeking an experienced Change and Capacity Project Manager to join our IT Service Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all changes to IT systems and services are properly assessed, approved, implemented, and documented, and that the capacity of IT systems and services is planned, managed, and optimized to meet business requirements.

     

    This position will be located onsite in Roy, Utah and will not offer a telecommuting arrangement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Change Management:

    + Develop and implement change management processes and procedures to ensure that all changes are properly assessed, approved, implemented, and documented.Manage the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process, ensuring that all changes are reviewed and approved by relevant stakeholders.

    + Ensure that all changes are properly documented, including change requests, impact assessments, and implementation plans.

    + Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure that changes have been successfully implemented and that any issues have been resolved.

    + Document all change management activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Lead the evaluation, prioritization, and coordination of all changes to IT services, systems, and infrastructure.

    Capacity Management:

    + Develop and implement capacity management processes and procedures to ensure that IT systems and services are planned, managed, and optimized to meet business requirements.

    + Monitor and analyze performance data to identify potential capacity issues and develop plans to address them.

    + Work with Project planning teams to ensure that capacity planning is integrated into the design and implementation of new IT systems and services.

    + Conduct capacity assessments, forecast future capacity needs, develop and maintain capacity plans, and recommend solutions to optimize resource utilization.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize risks associated with changes and optimize system performance and capacity.Document all capacity management activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 6 years of realted experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

    + Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance with an adjudication or periodic reinvestigation date within the last 5 years; must be able to maintain the required security clearance as a condition of continued employment.

    + Must be able to obtain Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) within a period as determined by customer and/or program requirements; must be able to maintain SAP/SAR as a condition of continue employment.

    + IAT level 3Experience (ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, etc..)

    + Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks and best practices Experience in discovery tools integration and data management (ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, SolarWinds, etc.).

    + At least 3-5 years of experience in change and capacity management, preferably in an IT service management environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow Certification in ITIL Expert or Master level.Experience with Data Center support, cloud computing, virtualization, and other emerging technologies.ITL v4 Foundations Certification or higher with a Strong knowledge of ITIL principles, particularly Change Management and Capacity Management

     

    Salary Range: $107,800.00 - $161,800.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
