    + Purpose

    + This SOP details the event set up needs and procedures for Kingston Stadium football games for Thursday and Friday nights in the fall. With the occasional Saturday marching band events

    + Scope

    + Timeline is August 1 through the end of football season (which could include hosting playoff games)

    + This SOP applies to all varsity football games and other games that are attached to varsity contests (aka. Lower level games/curtain raisers)

    + It details the overall game management set up and procedures for the stadium manager

    + Responsibilities/Procedure

    + District AD/Stadium Manager

    + Sets up the press box and all electronic equipment to run the game from the press box

    + Test and operate before the game starts, both on game day and done testing fo the season by end of first week in August

    + If someone doesn’t show up, I step in to serve the role they had

    + Walk the field and track to make sure the playing surface is safe and clean

    + Sets up entry gates at all 4 corners of the stadium

    + Includes tables, chairs, and tents for all event workers

    + Signage around the stadium for purchasing as well as information and directions

    + Student check in table set up

    + Block parking spaces for marching bands and booster club

    + Meet the visiting teams and lead them to the assigned locker rooms

    + Meet the officials for each game and lead them to the assigned locker rooms

    + Have officials sign all necessary paperwork for payment

    + Bring them food and beverages 3rd quarter of each game

    + Meet with Security at the start of the game

    + Serve as point of contact for emergency action plan when in place

    + Participate in final decision on all weather related decisions

    + This includes, rain, lightning, heat, and more

    + HS Athletic Director makes the final decision on any weather related decision

    + During the contest, move around and check with each area to make sure things are running smoothly

    + Close down the stadium at the end of the stadium with the help of the kingston maintenance staff

    + Communicate any issues with fans, players, or coaches or any other instances with necessary parties

    Day of Responsibilities:

    + Day Of Responsibility - Collect contracts/stipends for all workers (bench help and officials)

    + ELSC Business Office will prepare

    + Who will take to the stadium and get signatures - return them to ELSC?

    + Email to activities secretary - print and provide to AD

    + AD gets signatures for all press box workers and officials

    + AD returns signed documents to ELSC

    + Day Of Responsibility - Review assigned responsibilities for bench help as needed

    + Day Of Responsibility - Set up scoreboard, microphone, sound system, main scoreboard graphics, etc.

    + Day Of Responsibility -Pick up and deliver food (On event set up doc)

    + Day Of Responsibility - collaborate with the CRPD

    + Day Of Responsibility -collaborate with SFG

    + Day Of Responsibility - Manage ticketing - gates, card readers, ticket reels, tables, tents

    + Day Of Responsibility - Charge card readers and walkie talkies

    + House equipment during winter

    + Charge at Kingston during season

    + Day Of Responsibility - Signage

    + Day Of Responsibility - Banners

    + Day Of Responsibility -Day of Responsibility - Goal post padding, yard markers, 1st down chains, goal posts, etc.

    + Day Of Responsibility - Keys for teams, officials, and band

    + Day Of Responsibility - Locker rooms ready

    + Day Of Responsibility - Athletic Director - Communicate with CRJefferson Booster club - changes, adjustments, delay etc.

    + Day Of Responsibility - Communicate and facilitate space for media (TV, radio, newspaper)

    + Day Of Responsibility - Emergency Action Plan - (AED, etc.)

    + Day Of Responsibility - Emergency response (web thermometer)

    + Day Of Responsibility - Gates open at 4:00 p.m. Set up by 3pm

    + Date Range: Aug 1 - Nov. 15
