    Responsibilities

    **Shift:** Casual Part-Time, 7:30am - 4pm

    Job Summary:

    The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Registered Nurse is a professional with expertise in cardiovascular specialty areas. Their role will integrate the components of clinician, teacher, consultant and researcher.

    Essential Duties:

    + Responsible for the initial assessment of the participant and assists in the development of the plan of care with other staff members. Assists with the orientation of new participants.

    + Supervises exercise session, monitoring participants for appropriate responses to exercise.

    + Reports any significant participant conditions (dysrhythmias, abnormal blood pressure responses, change in participant’s status, etc.) to the appropriate physician.

    + Charts and documents initial assessment, daily participant information, and progress.

    + Leads participant education sessions in areas of nursing expertise.

    Qualifications

    License/Certifications:

    + Current RN license issued by the state of Oregon

    + American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days of hire.

    + ACLS within 6 months of hire.

    + Arrhythmia certification within 3 months of hire.

    + ACSM-EP certification preferred.

    Experience:

    + Experience in exercise and wellness preferred.

    + 2 years recent experience in Cardiac Rehab with phase I, II, and III or relevant experience is preferred.

    + Knowledgeable in exercise techniques and activity levels, monitoring equipment and arrhythmia recognition.

    Education:

    + Associate's Degree in Nursing

    + Specialized education in critical care preferred.

    Pay Range

    $51.17 - $71.49 /hour
