University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. is currently seeking individuals for a full-time position as a Mechanical Senior Project Manager located in the San Diego area.

Compensation Rage: $155,000-175,000

QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

+ Proven project management skills with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a project manager with full mechanical contracting or related construction firms.

+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial related projects.

+ Minimum 5 years of preconstruction/design-assist experience.

+ Proven experience in management of healthcare, data center, lab, higher education and semi-conductor projects. Contract value range of $15M-200M.

+ Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering preferred.

+ Experience working with job sites in healthcare is preferred.

Computer Skills

Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs

+ Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Viewpoint

Duties include safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to their projects, preconstruction, design- assist, field labor productivity, quality assurance and coordination, project financial outcome, projections and reporting, material and equipment procurement, change order management, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management.
