Overview
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Diagnostic and Interventional Ultrasound Procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Ultrasound Technology. The primary goal of the Medical Center is to provide the best possible health care to the sick and the injured. Diagnostic procedures performed by the Ultrasound Technologist contribute directly toward this goal.

Responsibilities
Technologist operates and maintains specialized ultrasound equipment for use in performing ultrasound procedures that required independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Consistently utilizing a holistic approach (considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria) appropriate for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients served in the assigned service area.
Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited Ultrasound Technology School or ARRT registered with Ultrasound experience. ARDMS Registered in a least 2 categories. CPR certified. Previous Ultrasound experience. Read, write, and speak fluent English. Dept of Labor Level III (Medium) Work. Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment strength and agility test at Medium Level of Work.
