What you’ll do as a Permitting Specialist

+ Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal permitting requirements.

+ Prepare, review, and submit permit applications to regulatory agencies.

+ Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and construction, to gather necessary permitting documentation.

+ Maintain relationships with permitting agencies to facilitate smooth approvals.

+ Provide guidance to project teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.

+ Track multiple permits and proactively address potential delays.

+ Research and analyze permitting trends and regulatory changes affecting the industry.

+ Assist in responding to permit-related inquiries from government agencies or stakeholders.

+ Support audits and internal compliance checks related to permits.

+ Identify process improvements for faster and more efficient permitting workflows.

What you’ll need

+ To be 18 years of age or older

+ Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience, formal trade, or technical skills training

+ Authorization to work in the United States for this company

+ High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or up to two years of basic understanding of permitting processes

+ Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

+ **Routinely:** Work alone in remote locations, use keyboard and mouse

+ **Occasionally:** Climbing stairs, Standing, Walking, operates vehicles
